Plan now to attend the annual Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 28, at the Tautphaus Park Zoo and Hockey Shelter. Enjoy a day of live music, conservation education, games, crafts and displays by local clubs and organizations. Zoo admission will be free for children 12 and under, with a paying adult and a can of food for the Idaho Falls Food Bank or one of the recyclable items listed at right.

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the Earth Day Celebration.  The main parking lot will be the Elk Pasture, west of the Zoo off of Rolandet.

Cool things at Earth Day

Earth Day Recyclable Art Sculpture Contest - Bring your recyclable art sculpture to the Celebration by 10:00 am.   Entries will be judged by the public during the day and prizes awarded at 3:30 pm.
Recycle Row - Bring your recyclables (see list at right) or a donation to the Food Bank.  Free child's admission (with a paying adult) to the zoo for every donation.
Kid's Crafts - Make a Earth Buddy, decorate a flower pot, make an Earth necklace, participate in a scavenger hunt, make an Edible Aquifer, and MORE!

Avoid the Parking Congestion!  Take the shuttle!

Avoid the parking congestion at Tautphaus Park! Buses are handicap-equipped. Free Zoo passes and aquatic center passes to the first 100 riders on the Green Line!  Shuttle Service Provided by TRPTA.    For more information
