Bonneville Metropolitan Planning Organization, together with Idaho Falls Community Pathways and the Idaho Falls Police Department, will be putting on a bike rodeo from 10-4 at Earth Day. The Bike Rodeo will have several stations teaching young bike riders basic bicycling skills (bring your own bike and helmet!). Each child completing the course will be eligible for the helmet raffle (40 helmets to be raffled). Also present at the rodeo will be bike mechanics who can tune and make adjustments, if needed, to participants’ bikes. Adults are also invited to complete the course but will not be eligible for helmets. Bicycle policemen will be on hand to escort rides around the park.
