2011 Earth Day Solar Viewing

brought to you by

Idaho Falls Astronomical Society Solar Viewing

FalloutThe Idaho Falls Astronomical Society will bring their solar telescopes to Earth Day. Come and safely view the sun. See arcs of flame and sunspots as our star continues to increase in activity along its eleven-year build up to solar maximum. We will have amateur astronomers on hand to answer your questions about astronomy, telescopes and the cosmos.

The Idaho Falls Astronomical Society meets every second Tuesday of the month at the Idaho Falls Public Library at 7:00PM. We always have a presentation or a speaker and lots of friendly folks to talk to. Stop by and see us. If you like the club, the annual fee is only 20 dollars.

Watch our website www.ifastro.org  for upcoming events. We hold Star Parties almost every month through the summer and the public is invited.
